    Annual fiberboard plates began 1912; undated 1912-22.  Dashboard plate
    also issued 1906-17.  1919 is almost identical to 1917, while 1922 is
    almost identical to 1918, making numbers difficult to track.  The
    repeating of colors/designs may have been done on purpose in order to
    use up leftover stock of old plates.  Numbers began at #10000 1923-26.
     
    "F" Truck first seen 1924 but truck registration figures start 1920.
    There is evidence to suggest that trucks may have used certain number
    blocks of passenger plates in 1920-23.  Period photos show trucks with
    low-numbered plates as follows:  1920 #212 - 3200, 1921 #52647,
    1922 #4067 - 4689.
